Check an appliance error code

Safety rule: stop when there is smoke, sparking, a burning smell, electric-shock signs, an active leak, cracked hob glass or suspected gas. Disconnect only when it is safe to do so.

Enter a code or choose a brand and appliance type. The database gives indicative meaning — the same code can differ between product series.

Important: do not buy a part based only on a code. Read the full model, check the manufacturer manual and note accompanying symptoms.

How to use an error code correctly

  1. Photograph the code before resetting.
  2. Record the full model and product number.
  3. Note at which stage of a cycle the code appears.
  4. Perform only user-level checks.
  5. Give the code together with symptoms to the technician.
